The superb engineering employed in the manufacture of Garador's sectional doors ensures they are amongst finest garage doors available.

A sectional door, as the name implies, is made-up from separate sections rather then single panel. This allows for exceptionally smooth operation both manually and especially when electrically operated.

Sectional doors have many other advantages over traditional up and over doors such as maximizing the drive-through width of a garage opening, allowing for close parking inside and out, and giving greater headroom clearance to accommodate vehicles such 4 x 4 and MPVs.

Door Security

To prevent your garage door from being forced open, all Garador operators feature a security kit which engages in the mechanism's boom on closing. This security device remains fully functional during a power failure and features an emergency manual release mechanism. The vertical tracks and runners employed in the opening mechanism afford excellent protection against forced opening.

Manual Operation

Manual handles can be fitted as an operation or provide as a kit for fitting on site. Also note that in most cases a handle will be fitted to one side of the second section from the bottom of the door.

Emergency Release

Please note: If there is no other personal access to the garage (ie. a side access door), an emergency release mechanism must be fitted.
